The Fine Print

Payment :  I'll be pleased to accept payment any way that is convenient for you, just so long as I end up receiving the net amount that we agree upon.  The fastest and best way for us both is for you to use PayPal - this way you can even pay by credit card and there is no cost to you when making payments - not even a 33c stamp - and, better still, no cost to me either!  Plus payments can be made instantly with no delays, unlike waiting for mail to travel across the country.  If you don't belong to Paypal already, it costs nothing to join and takes almost no time to get registered.  Click the link to join.  If you don't wish to use Paypal, you can send me cash or checks (on a US account only please).

Item Quality etc :  Low and standard value items are of standard collector quality - in other words, on occasion they may be a bit "shop worn" here and there.  Higher value items are as described.  Unless specified to the contrary, please assume all items are hinged.  If I have an image of a stamp, in the case of low value items of which I may have several, it is a generic image rather than an exact image of the actual stamp you would be purchasing.  For moderate and higher value items, I'll be pleased to custom scan anything that isn't already custom scanned.  Please note also that due to color errors that inevitably arise in the scanning and publishing process, actual stamp colors may be slightly different to those on the scans.

Mistaken Identity :  I am not an expert.  Please note that I make an honest "best effort" to identify stamps, but may sometimes be mistaken.  If you need to know for sure if a moderate or high value stamp is what I think it might be, ask me for a high-resolution scan before you purchase it and make your own evaluation accordingly.  It is much easier to solve such problems before the stamps are bought, paid for, and shipped, than it is afterwards!

Shipping :  I'll send your goods by regular mail or by UPS or Fedex or Airborne (can even charge direct to your account if you have a shipping account and discounted shipping rates), whichever you prefer, and charge the actual shipping cost plus a packing/materials cost that is a minimal 25c for small shipments by regular mail in a regular envelope, and a fair amount more for larger shipments with special packing/shipping requirements.  I can not send by registered or insured mail because this requires a one hour plus special trip to the Post Office, but can offer similar service via UPS if this is required.
