Russia issued a variety of stamps in Turkey between 1863 and when the post offices closed down on 30 September, 1914 (Russia and Turkey were on opposite sides during World War 1).  Scott has a section on "Offices in the Turkish Empire" at the end of their main Russian section.  Note also that some of their Turkish numbered stamps are shown in our section on ROPiT.

MH opened for $1 and seven people bid it up to $10.45.  Scott values at $19 (Aug 00).
S 16 Used, opened for $9.50 and sold at that price.  Scott values at $45 in 2000 and 2001 (Aug 00).

Used, opened for $3 and four bidders took up to $17.50 (Jul 01).

S 18 Used, opened for $3 and three bidders took up to $28.56.  Scott values at $65 (Jul 01).

MH, opened for $42.50 and sold at that price.  Scott values at $85.  It is interesting to note that the seller claimed a catalog value of $100, but set an opening price of exactly half the true catalog value.  As I repeatedly say, 'trust - but verify!' any seller's claims; in this case it is hard to believe other than the seller was deliberately lying (Aug 01).

S 19
M 11-I-a
SG24
Postally used, described as signed with "slightly rounded corner".  Opened for $1 and five people bid up to $25.50.  Scott values at $85, however the value should be adjusted down a bit for the poor quality of this stamp (Aug 00).
S 20-22 Used, opened for $3 and two bidders took up to $9.50.  Scott values at $7.50 (Jul 01).
S 21 Used, opened for $2 and sold at that price.  Scott values at $4.25 (July 00).
Note :  Scott's listings from 232 through to 376 - Wrangel issues - are shown in the separate section on General Wrangel.
